We focus on eCommerce because we've lived and breathed eCommerce for 15+ years, as investors and operators.
Earlier in my career I spent several years at Deloitte in the finance and strategy practice, advising Fortune 15 companies on finance transformation. From there I went to WeWork, where I ran finance for the China region — a team of 50+ — and worked directly with the CFO and SoftBank investors on $700M+ in cost savings during the restructuring.
After a stint as fractional CFO for two PE-owned SaaS companies, I joined Peak21 Holdings as Operating Partner and CFO. I managed a portfolio of five eCommerce companies — beauty, food and nutrition, pets, and baby — with $150M+ in combined revenue. I wasn't advising from the outside. I was inside: building cash flow models, running demand planning, cutting inventory from 24 weeks on hand to 8, negotiating 20% unit cost reductions, and leading M&A diligence on 100+ targets.
The brands in that portfolio included Snuggle Me Organic, Copper Pearl, and Nutrition Kitchen — the same companies in our case studies. I was not only their CFO; in a few instances, I was also the GM.
I founded Shopkeeper Financial Services because I kept seeing the same gap: traditional outsourced finance providers didn't understand the nuances of eCommerce — specifically the technology stack, the inventory cycles, and the channel economics. Brands needed a finance partner who already spoke their language, not one that would need months to learn it.
I have an MBA from INSEAD and a BBA in Finance from UT Austin. I've worked across the US, Europe, China, and Southeast Asia. The global perspective matters — many of our clients operate across borders, and multi-currency accounting and cross-jurisdiction tax aren't theoretical for me.
Tell us where you are today and we'll scope the right engagement — whether that's clean books, a month-end close process, or full CFO-level strategy.
